The Sunday Project: Volume 1
We began The Sunday Project™ series with Volume 1, republishing the first 53 pages that contributed to the daily continuity from Sunday, May 29, 1932 through Sunday, June 4, 1933. The Sunday pages in Volume 1 also complete the republished canon of the “topper” comic strip, Cigarette Sadie, also by Gould, which appeared beneath many Tracy Sundays published in tabloid-size newspapers.
Through the generosity and assistance of Jean Gould O'Connell, each page in Volume 1 is reprinted from the Sunday pages in Chester Gould's own newsprint archive of the strip. Volume 1 is available for $230.00 as a standalone purchase.
